The tree came from a Christmas dingbat font. I got the white snow/needle effect on the tree using Paint Alchemy. The tinsel was done by drawing paths and then stroking them the airbrush at various sizes. The bulbs were just gradient filled circles. I set the text in Illustrator and angled the letters there. I painted the snow on to of the letters and painted in the ground and used the "Lumpy Noise" filter for snow in the sky.
