The window frame was created with gradients. The falling snow was made with an old Mac Photoshop filter called "Lumpy Noise" which, unfortunately, no longer works with current versions of Photoshop and Mac hardware. I painted the snow blown up against the window panes and then ran the "Plastic Wrap" filter on it to get the glassy effect. The text was done on two different layers with the lower layer stroked to fatten it then they were filled with gradients and the light glints on the type were painted with the airbrush tool.
