As Peggy and I drove home from work on Monday, January 3rd, we got a call from Sarah. She had gone for her weekly checkup and the doctor wanted to induce labor tonight. Her and Jerrold were headed over to the hospital from the doctor's office. We continued on home, changed clothes and picked up Lyndsey then drove to the hospital.
They induced labor at 7:00 pm and we began waiting. At 3:04 am, January 4th, 2000 Sarah delivered a healthy baby girl. She weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 inches long. Mother and child left the hospital on the 6th and have been doing nicely at home.
